So after settling back into Sydney for a week, I then travelled to see Adam
(Aussie friend from working at Profile) in Bowral/Moss Vale.
I travelled by train, taking over 2 hours to get there.
Just as I got there, the weather suddenly heated up (maybe due to the airconditioned train)
- but as Adam advised it was a heatwave weekend.
.... surely he has air conditioning? ..... no such luck.
Anyway, so we spent the weekend travelling around, drinking, eating, shopping and
watching TV on his computer! - a definite lounging weekend! - definitely needed before
job hunting.
On the Sunday we went to a freshwater lake where Adam advised me we would be SWIMMING? hell no i thought, any chance of being eaten by crocs, count me out.
After getting there and seeing all the kids swimming in it, and also by being convinced that
there were no crocodiles this far south, I got in. It was certainly an experience and one i'm glad
I made myself do! - the pictures don't even do the beauty of this spot justice! - extremely picturesque.
I swam in there!!!! ^^^
In the week that followed me and Emma went to the Powerhouse Museum, full of all very interesting things including a star wars special...

Me, Sarah, Anna and Emma also went on the *GHOST TOUR* which centres around the ROCKS parts of Sydney Harbour, basically the oldest part where all the old houses still stand - and some of the ghosts too! - It was a bizarre but funny experience when as soon as we got there, we told we would be playing roles to help illustrate each story! My role was a French gay toyboy who kills his master/sugardaddy and tries to dump him in the harbour! - everyone was very impressed by my French accent... which was better than the tour guide's. :) He led us through many of the old buildings, passageways and burial grounds telling us various gruesome and shocking stories, all the while telling us to keep an eye out for ghosts!!

Shortly after this, I decided I had to use my last option in finding a job and ask Work and Travel for help, after offering me the same job twice before and turning it down both times, due to the hours, I didn't have any doubt as to which job I would be offered.
- Working at a mens Health Clinic doing the night shift from 7pm to 4am.
I grudgingly accepted, as the money was pretty good and... well there's hardly ANY jobs going these days. - the job entails taking calls from the UK from Men replying to advertising regarding longer lasting sex and erectile dysfunction - embarrassing at the beginning, but once you get used to it, it's a pretty easy job. - you can read, listen to music, watch videos in between calls and for a good wage, so all in all it's not that bad - plus there's a fun lively group of people from the UK and USUALLY a good atmosphere.
more later....
